Aisha Hinds, an American actress best famous for her role in the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003 she has proven her acting versatility by providing outstanding performances on television series like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. She was first noticed for her role as Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. The film was primarily for her portrayal of the feminist Fannie Louis Hamer from the biopic All the Way, which gave her the respect she deserved as an actress. Hind received praise for her performance as Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television have renewed the series' third season. In the last few days, Hind finished filming on the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is set for a release in the mid-year of 2019. The father Krishnaraj was an Army scientist who passed away in March of 2017 and the mother Vrinda is a domestic worker. She has an older brother Aditya Rai, who is an engineer in the merchant navy. The older brother of Bachchan's Aditya is was a co-producer and wrote Dil Ka Rishta along with their mother. She went to Arya Vidya Mandir High School located in Mumbai where her family had moved to. Jai Hind College in Mumbai was where she finished the intermediate portion of her schooling for one year. After that, she began at D.G. Ruparel College in Matunga where she was awarded a 99% mark on the H.S.C. exams. As a teenager, she spent five years studying classical music as well as dancing. Her most loved study was zoology. Bachchan was studying architecture when she was elected Miss World in 1994. It was a title that brought her into the fast lane of modeling. Her lucrative roles for PepsiCo Inc. & Vogue magazine along with the spokesmodel contract with L'Oreal Paris were all rewarded in 2003. The two first films of her career were Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya and Iruvar. Both of these films challenged the fundamental model that defined Bollywood films at the time propelling Bachchan to prominence in the New Bollywood. Bachchan made her a queen of Bollywood by playing Paro the lover who was betrayed in Devdas, (2002). Devdas was one of Bollywood's most successful films. The film was also the first film that was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Chokher bali (2003) was the following film that she won praise. It's a thriller based on Rabindranath Tagore's novel. The same year, she served as the only Indian actress in the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan made an appearance in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice which is an musical as well as a ballet adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Her star-power and elegance were brought to the first major English-language film.
