Alexandra Shipp

Alexandra Shipp has been a popular actress for many years. Born in Phoenix Arizona in the United States on July 16, 1991. She had a guest role on Victorious along with Victoria Justice in 2012. Shipp had her first acting performance as a kid as a child in Alvin and the Chipmunks The Squeakquel which was released in the year 2009. A third series of Nickelodeon's mystery teen-drama series House of Anubis saw her playing KT in the title role. Her roles on the show in 2014 included Dani Raymond, the lead part of the VH1 TV sequel Drumline: A New Beat and Aaliyah Hauchton's performance in the Lifetime Television's film Aaliyah: the Princess of R&B garnered her attention. Shipp sang in the film's second appearance. She then played Ice Cube's wife Kimberly Woodruff in the biographical drama film Straight Outta Compton which chronicled the career of hip-hop group N.W.A. She also co-starred with Bryan Singer in the superhero film X-Men: Apocalypse, as Ororo Storm/Murrell, a weather-controlling mutant previously played by Halle Berry. In the year 2018, Nick Robinson starred along with Jorge Lendeborg Jr. as Love Simon, while Kathryn Prescott was in the film with Lucy Hale and Nick Robinson. James is the name she has in common along with her twin brother. She played Danielle Dani Raymond's character as Danielle Dani Raymond in Drumline The New Beat New Beat, the TV film from the year 2014. Alexandra Ruth Shipp (born July 16th, 1991) is an American actor, singer, songwriter and instrumentalist who rose to prominence for portraying real-life artist Aaliyah on the Lifetime television series Aaliyah: the Princess of R&B (2014) as well as Kimberly Woodruff in the Oscar-nominated film Straight Outta Compton (2015).
